What do you do for fun? A TCK Comic

What should we do for fun? Asking that question will get you some interesting answers, depending on who you ask. But I’ve noticed that TCKs are more likely than Non-TCKs to suggest trying something new, maybe eating at a restaurant they’ve never been to before, exploring a new place or meeting someone new.

Come to Singapore and I promise not to take you to any malls ;-)
LOL on the boredom though...usually a signal for me to hop on a plane or ferry! Thankfully I can be in another country in as little as 40 minutes.

Ugh, I really want to go to Singapore...
  • Malaysia would be more my preference to be honest. =)
Especially since it's an even bigger and cheaper shopping mall than Singapore.
In Perth, the malls are actually pretty useless, so I suppose that 'going to Malaysia/Singapore' would seem like heading for a shopping trip.

true true! i think most TCKs' get bored easier than most ppl with things and want to move onto the next "new" thing! At least i find that with me. I get restless easier..definitely i can't be in a country more than 3 years!!

Lol! I've done that quite a few times. I'm bored and I'll say to people "Hmm, I feel like going to Singapore". I actually did say Singapore, I love Singapore lol.

I think I did that once and people thought I was joking.

when i am bored, its road trip time!

There are some who'd argue that Singapore is just a giant mall. ;)

Funny thought however, because this happens to me often...

I go to a shop here in Switzerland, or anywhere really. And I ask for something in the language. And they respond to me in English, just because they know I'm not from there.

It feels a bit ridiculous to say "Chan ich iene Stange habe?" and they say "Yes. It is ten Francs."

haha, that's so true. When I was in high-school, most of my friends just went to the mall to hangout for the long weekend or on march break, while I went traveling to Europe on a whim whenever the opportunity came up lol
