I have a blog that has the variety of my life on it… Most of the recent stuff is from my time here in Turkey, but there’s political, religious, poetic, humorous, and totally random scattered through it too.

I own both the “Tess” LJ as well as Culture in the Blender. I started Culture in the Blender as an outlet for TCK=related thoughts only, because they were taking over my LJ, and I got the LJ primarily to stay in touch with my college friends after we graduated. Many of my LJ posts are friends only, so don’t expect that one to be very interesting.

I moved Culture in the Blender from Blogger to hosting on my own site. There’s a notice on the Blogger version, but Culture in the Blender can now be found at http://blog.globalistgirl.net/ .

I also started an online detailed recipe collection. At the moment, it’s tiny - but if anyone would like to share their favorite recipes along with detailed instructions and/or pictures of what you really need to do to make the dish, sign up for an acocunt and add it! I think we all have our regional favorites that assume many things that might not occur to someone outside that region to do. I’m hoping my cooking site can help people who haven’t cooked a particular cuisine do it right, just with the recipe. So whoever finds that shwarma recipe, post it for the rest of us :D

    Mine’s www.malaysian-at-heart.blogspot.com
Mainly for it’s me to keep in touch with my mates and just update them on what’s happening with me (cuz the time difference likes to bite us all in the ass, and I can’t usually meet them online everday or whatever) but my own TCKness is plays a big part in my posts. I usually add in anything new/funny whenever I come by them. Hopefully they get immortalised on my blog for all time. =)

Update: I just moved my blog to a new host (word press), because I prefer the features and think it’s a little more flexible than blogger… anyway, the new address is http://thatplacecalledhome.wordpress.com
