Here's an interesting article about the (non-American) black TCK experience. It's a guest post on an anti-racist blog. The writer is Ghanaian but grew up in Japan & the US. At the time of writing she was in Shanghai, China.

I posted an article for parents of TCKs - 20 things they should know and do when they consider relocating overseas with children. I would LOVE to get comments from my fellow TCKs. (Or add to the list - it's by no means exhaustive). Feel free to share it.

I have a page about TCKs that summarizes academic research on both globalization and TCKs at http://www.globalistgirl.net . I'm still building it up, but the information is all there, academic references and all. I'm trying to make the page that I wish had been out there when I first found out that I was a TCK, and I'm hoping that others can be helped by it as well. A lot of the basic information is out there in several places, but I've got a lot more detailed information and research that relates to the TCK experience, but not directly done on TCKs. If anyone here has any suggestions to make it better, or wants to contribute any recipes of theirs, feel free to let me know.

If you're looking for more news articles on TCKs, check out this post

http://www.tckid.com/group/third-culture-kids-in-the-news/

Here's an interesting article from Newsweek:

http://www.newsweek.com/id/78157

"When I talk to people in a foreign country, no matter how strange, they are always familiar to me."

"I never thought I'd agree with Obama. I've never written an article that contains the phrase "As an Indian-American ..." or "As a person of color ..."

(Thanks Paulette for letting me know about this!!)
