The Would you rather… game

I’ve seen a lot of threads on other forums, so I might as well give it a try too.

RULES: The poster asks a question using this structure: Would you rather……. or would you……………?

Then the NEXT poster answers that question and asks ANOTHER question using the structure, then the next poster repeats the last poster and so on……

Would you rather be able to travel all over the world or win a $1m but never be able to travel?

    If I get to choose the type, then definitely pear- I love the "Asian pears" we get in Korea and Japan. If we're talking about those mushy things I tasted in USA, then noooo! Those were aweful :)

  • Oooh tough question, two extreme ends. I think I'd like to stay in one country for 4 years and leave it to travel every so often hehe

    I wudnt completely ignore the opportunity to be with a non-tck, but a tck and I would have a much deeper connection and greater understanding and appretiation for each other. In my opinion at least.

    Would you rather move to a different country every year for 4 years or would u rather be forced to stay in ONE single country for 4 years without leaving it even for a day

    Both! The medium doesn't matter much, wisdom can be found everywhere... except maybe Hollywood.

    Would you prefer to get married to a TCK or a Non-TCK? Does it matter?

    I had Mezza 2 nights ago! I've been nagging my dad to take me to the Morrocan restaurant that opened recently near us and he did when he heard abt the exam results... it was very nice!


    Would you rather: go without food for 3 days or give up something you loved to eat for a year?
  • Mezza is the origin of tapas - small appetizer dishes like soaked almonds, salads, hummous, pita bread.

    Kebab all day every day. How could you sleep on fluffy, buttery pita bread with hummous, tabouli & flavorful meat??

    Change country every year for sure, but then again in reality if you change country then you wouldn't you have to change schools?

    The country deosn't matter... cuz I want to go everywhere.
    As long as they aren't there to make me do stupid things like take a bunch of pictures of unimportant things while going "PEACE~asian style".
    Plus, I have to hit the night life and nobody is stopping me from it.

    no gas unless it's mineral water... But then again, it depends on the source. Some waters taste better with gas bubbles others without.

    would you rather travel to a destination by flight but have to jump planes ten times and spend a total of over two days of travel or would you rather travel by train for only five hours but be forced to sit next to someone with horrible body odor?

    Barefoot. I can't sand huge heels -- i'm tall enough as it is, i don't really need them anyways.

    sharks....i've heard if you don't move they don't necessarily attack....plus they're cooler and can't get out of the water...and their teeth are sharper so if they're going to eat me they might as well go for it.

    It depends what i am becoming famous for....But i'd rather be famous for writing some great sophisticated intellectual novel (or hell, a storybook!) or psyche journal or whatever than be an actress and attached to Hollywood.

    So, famous! Plus, not being rich makes me humble. :-)

    Swim with sharks (like Jaws..lol) or salt-water crocs (like Rogue)?

    Take the Trans-Siberian! I took it from St. Petersburg to Moscow and had a nice time. A guy I met on it said it's not all that safe though.

    Aeroflot is tempting... simply because I see all these ads on TV now about how they're supposed to have improved. Something in me can't get over that they used to just put seats in a cargo plane and get people to fly...

    Would you rather sit on a beach or at the top of a mountain?

    Homeless...i'd probably do both to see how it is though... I actually made a short documentary on homelessness in DC when I was in high school and it was REEAAALLLY interesting just talking to everyone and hearing their stories.

    I generally look around the room, and as long as there is someone supporting one team, I support the other.
    Sometimes I got confused and was yelling for both... i got some weird looks...


    When you retire would you rather go back to the place you first grew up in, or go to one of your host countries?

    Travel through it. I'm a historian, and I'd love to see the world through its different stages.

    Plus, TCKs have a home that's set in time as well as in place. Going back to Jakarta now wouldn't make it home, but going back *then*... Well a little bit more than before.

    The team of your home country is playing against the team of one of your host countries in the World/Euro Cup. Who do you support?

    Deaf. I'm waaaay too visual. I mean, photography is like the closest thing to me. At least, even if you're deaf, if you blast the speakers loud enough, you'd still feel the beat, yeah? Not that I wanna be fully deaf... but you all know what I mean.

    I'd rather never be able to go to a country I haven't been to before. Hey, it is only one country..there are tons of others I could go to :D

    Plus, it's somewhere I've never been...can't miss something that I've never experienced :P

    Hmmm.... love attracting bugs....I always found it bizarelly intriguing to be a vampire so I wouldn't really mind if i got bit by one...plus they live forever and can fly so I can go everywhere in the world as much as I want (And TASTE THE BLOOD OF ALL THE PEOPOLE IN THE WOOORRLLDD MUAHAHAHAHA- count marieacula)!!!!

    Never be able to learn a new language or never be able to go to a country you haven't been to before.

    Ice cream, cause at least that isn't too dry. I hate eating dry stuff, like cookies, unless I have something to drink with it.. but anyways..

    Hmmm...I'll go with the fork to the eye. It seems likely the fat person would cause both eyes to pop out of my head on impact anyway...might as well keep ONE good eye around! (presents quite a visual in any case)

  • Old and reliable because my tastes are very diverse, and there's probably not much that I haven't yet tried!
