The move!!!

Hey all. I’ve been quite absent from the forum for the past month or so and I apologize. I left France about a month ago and spent the whole month of July in Tokyo, Japan. I was there just visiting my parents and going around places.

I have now moved back to Manila, Philippines where I will continue to (shudders) study for about another year or so. I’m still trying to settle back into life in Manila after the less-hectic and less-stressful life in northern France (which I completely adored)

I do indeed miss my life there. Waking up in the morning, with my freshly-baked warm baguette and nutella with some orange juice. LOL. It sounds so stereotypical  but I really really love it (qu’est-ce que ça me manque!!)

But don’t get me wrong, Manila is a lively and always upbeat city that practically never stops to take a breather! I’m sure once I have settled back into my life around here it’ll be quite fun as well.

Hope everyone’s well! =)

André

Yay Andre! It’s great to hear your story!
Did you do anything fun while staying in Tokyo?
    I miss Shibuya haha

I wish to go to France someday. You wrote only 4 paragraphs but you already sound very multi-cultured XD

Isn’t it what so great about TCK life? XD

Marie’s right. Probably a good idea to get out of Paris during August anyway.

    Have fun in Manila. :)

    Thanks guys!! =)

I guess I’ll do an entire blog post about it when I feel like it. Hahahaha =)

While I was in Tokyo, I bought a few things and I just kinda bummed around. I visited Asakusa, which was not bad but I still preferred Kamakura. Went around Akihabara (as usual) as well as Shibuya. My parents live in Ebisu so that area is quite nice and it was just ok walking around cos it was SOOOO HOOOTTTTT compared to the weather in France.

Yeah, well, I do miss it though…and to top it all, apparently the best place where one can buy at least good tasting French-style bread here in Manila (Le Coeur de France) is still closed due to the accidental(?) explosion in a mall last year. Tant pis. I will have to make do.

Bon, je vais pas trop me plaindre…car comme je disais à mes amis, étant donné que je suis un TCK, je pense que je m’habitue assez bien quand je me retrouve dans des situations nouvelles…même si je préfererais rester à Lille =P
