The first TCKID Postcard ever!! (picture)

I got the first TCKID Postcard today from our fun little experiment…. (if you don’t know what this is all about, please check this thread.)

Here it is… you may want to cover your eyes.

Thanks for that beautiful view of Venice Beach, Michelle.

I actually laughed when I saw this, but what she wrote is even more hilarious. I can’t wait to visit… it sounds very welcoming. :)

So this card has traveled from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada.

And now I’ll send it to one lucky person… where will this card travel next???

    not a problem. :P
I was planning on going round to melbourne and sydney next year, but I’m not sure if I’ll have the cash for it. Hmm, any advice on what to see in Sydney and Melbourne? I mean, apart from the usual Opera House and Sydney Bridge and stuff. =)

Sorry MISH. I Sydney I knew is looooooon gone. The Olympic destroys the flavor of every city IMO.

BUT…I won’t lie…walk south from Coogee along the walk. About 20 minutes down you will see some steps leading to the rocks. In the middle is a teardrop shaped pool several metres long and wide and about 5 ft deep. Go and enjoy the warm water. Sun on the rocks and when your somewhat dry…lick the salt from the water of your knees :)

Yes, MsM licks her knees sometimes. And it tastes GOOD!?

Oh, and the Halal restaurant on Randwick Rd. Eat the chicken and fishball soup for me. Passionfruit iceream (with seeds) in the Japanese spot in Chinatown.

One thing Sydney does have in abundance - great ethnic restaurants. Without a doubt up there with Toronto for best cities when it comes to food…
