The Fetal Diaries #40: What’s your sleeping position?

Kuya Brice and I were talking on MSN and he asked what position I sleep in and I said, on my side, on my right, usually. Then he showed me this pic:

Guys, how ironic issit that my sleeping position is the Foetus? Haha, I love this.

Anyways, apparently, your sleeping position gives a clue of what kinda person you’re like. For the full article, go to: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/3112170.stm

Here’s mine:
The Foetus: Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax.

And that, too, is accurate, I suppose.. Tell me if you guys’ are accurate, hey? I’ll keep it short! Pce.

Hmmm…I don’t see “Sitting up at workdesk” on there. ;-)

I must be a well-rounded person cause I routinely go through all of these, which seems pretty accurate as I do feel the urge to laugh, cry, get a hug, punch somebody in the face, tell jokes, and light the couch on fire. ;-)

    hahaha i am freefall
Freefall (7%): Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don’t like criticism, or extreme situations.
wooooow hahahaha ok i guess…tat’s true. LOL, and i dunt consider that as a criticism maybe tat’s why i am taking it so well hahahahahaha

I go through a few different positions as I’m going to sleep, but I’ve been told that the position in which you wake up is the one in which you actually slept. So that makes me a…

Soldier. Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don’t like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.

    I guess that’s true.

Freefaller here! Lol, that sounded so weird.

Now, I think I can be quite nervy and true on the extreme situations and being thin-skinned underneath. Criticism on the other hand….I LOVE criticism!xD

@cadpig: Haha do you find that you dont really see comments as criticisms most of the time? because that’s the case for me, if i dunt think it’s a criticism of course i take it well…but when I think it’s a criticism oh i do NOT take it so well at all lol

Interesting…I alternate between the soldier and the yearner

“The yearner (13%): People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.”
Except for the cynical part, it is all true! :D

@mmm: Sorry for the late reply.xP I have to say I don’t see most of it as criticism. But then, I take most comments on improvement seriously like, if they say I don’t know how to draw hands properly.

I’ll spend hours staring at my hand trying to get everything right.xD I take all criticism well.

I am a soldier. When taking a nap, I could be a free-faller (but I don’t think the description of a free-faller applies to me well).

I have to give credit to Brice about this because I was inspired to think about it when we were discussing the sleeping position: I think the description of a soldier applies to most Asians. It says..

“generally quiet and reserved. They don’t like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.”

Asians are generally more reserved than other ethnic groups and they also value discipline and are shame-based cultures, so set themselves and others high standards.
