TCK SURVEY (American & Canadian citizens), chance to win an Amazon gift card!

Dear fellow TCKs,

I am conducting an online survey as part of an independent research project on third culture kids (TCKs) at Pepperdine University. Your input as a TCK is needed!

In order to participate you must be: 1) a A TCK U.S.A. or Canadian citizen. 2) 18-25 years old 3)and have returned to live in the U.S.A. or Canada at some point in your life.

As a thank you, at the end of the study three Amazon gift cards will be given away in a drawing: two for the amount of $100 and one for $50 (I was offering a Borders gift card before but now recieved more funding, yay).

The purpose of the survey is to collect information on the TCK experience regarding identity and belonging to produce a comprehensive, sociological study on the identity formation of TCKs.

Below is the link to the survey (copy & paste): http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=So_2f_2bbgA4ywiHkFA7bcFicw_3d_3d If you have any questions, feel free to contact me (the principal investigator) at Joy.Souligny@pepperdine.edu.Thank you for your participation and helping out a fellow TCK! Feel free to pass on the link to the survey to other TCKs! The survey has been extended and will close on August 8, 2008.

Before you start, here are the restrictions on who can participate:

    i) A TCK U.S.A. or Canadian citizen. A TCK is an individual who has spent a significant part his or her developmental years in a culture other than the parents’ culture; the TCK builds relationships to all of the cultures, while not having full ownership in any.
    ii) 18-25 years old
iii) And have already repatriated to the U.S.A. or Canada

Thanks for the clarification, Ayako…you saved me some time! I was about to go and participate, when I realized I’m an “old fogie” in comparison to the restrictions of the survey. ;)

Shame, I’m too old, not Amercian or Canadian. Send me the $100 dollars anyway.

I’m a month too young… close enough, or is it a legal issue? I sound so eager to do this, haha, I’d love to get extra credit in my psychology class for being in a study but the class ends before my birthday.
