TCK Meetup in Los Angeles LA

Hi All!
I live near Los Angeles, California, and I am wondering if any of you guys are interested in meeting up in LA (Perhaps for the first time? I don’t know if this has been done before).
Please reply with your:
1. Age
2. Current school year/or write if you’re working
3. City you live in
4. Time frame of when you would like to meet up.
5. Also, would there be a specific topic that you would like to discuss during the meeting?I think this would be awesome so we can just talk about the life of being a TCK.
I’ll start with myself:
1. 23
2. Graduated uni in 2006
3. San Bernardino
4. I am doing a few projects here and there so my time is very flexible.
5. I would love to just meet everyone and hear everyone’s story about their experience living overseas, and/or if LA is where you’re placed from another country.

It will be awesome if you can join us. =D
You can tell your parents that you are meeting a group of people, like a formal club, that deals with international experience, living experience, cultural experience, etc. If you found out about this at school, you can even say you met us at school, and that we live here!
But of course, don’t lie. I don’t know if that helps.

I told my Mom about the meetup, and she said it sounded cool. I guess it’s different if you’re meeting a group rather than, say, going off to see some guy you’ve fallen madly in love with over the Internet. Anyway, all clear.

HI Rose and Sharon,
I had a wonderful time at the meet up in Claremont at the Peruvian restaurant. I wish more could have joined us. We had many things in common and just had fun sharing our stories and experiences. A great way to build and network our TCK connections.
