Thank you guys for the lovely comments, I hate the fact that I can’t answer each comment with the new TCK :(

I cannot take all the credit for the pics, my hubby took a few, he is a professional photographer :) I learned a few tricks from him…my sis is a professional photographer too… :) so it became almost impossible not to pick up some skill from them :D

I’m glad you thought Chile was a gorgeous as I did, if any of you go, visit the Atacama desert for me too :D

Thank you for your worldview - literally. Everyone I know who has been to Chile has been an Argentinian who did not like the place. Great to see it from someone else’s perspective - and visually at that :)

    Hi MsMerising,

Yes I know Argentineans generally dislike Chile, to be quite honest I think it’s pure jealousy. They know, that because of the way “we” argentinean are, we will never have a country with the facilities that Chile has, we have everything Chile has or could have, but we don’t care, let it all go to the dogs, chileans (or at least their government) do things in order to make the country function properly.

The problem is that Argentineans think themselves better than the rest of LA because we are “more european”…whatever…the reality is, we don’t care about Argentina, but the we are jealous of countries that really care about their image, cities and people…sorry about the venting :) I really get very upset with my con national when they talk rubbish (and they do, a lot) :D

    lol @ JEMILA

Before I read your comment I was thinking of the “European affinity” some Argentinians I have met feel about there culture. Funny to see you express it :) I remember one woman complaining that Chile had bad cooking & everything was “too low” because the people were “too short”. But again, she is a chronic complainer so I figured she would complain about anyplace.

I have no doubt Chile has many great adventures to get up to. Chile also has had there share with corrupt govornments (who hasn’t?) but the folks I meet from there are usually very nice and have a very deep love for there roots. Viva la Chile!
