Procrastination…
Well, this is my first blog EVER! Bear with me here
(I’m supposed to be reading Plato right now, but I decided that it can wait the five minutes that it takes me to write this). When you’re homeschooled, you can do some stuff on your own time, as long as it gets done. Haha, we’re lucky that way. Right now we’re reading Plato, conjugating past tense German verbs, and studying for our Biology midyear! YIKES!!! It’s all easy enough, but kind of not so interesting. I just have to know it all. Anyone who thinks that homeschoolers never have to do anything is really misinformed.
I just read this HILARIOUS thing on another blog (thegookins.net) it came from (http://www.snopes.com/humor/letters/daylight.asp)
You may have noticed that March of this year was particularly hot. As a matter of fact, I understand that it was the hottest March since the beginning of the last century. All of the trees were fully leafed out and legions of bugs and snakes were crawling around during a time in Arkansas when, on a normal year, we might see a snowflake or two.
This should come as no surprise to any reasonable person. As you know, Daylight Saving Time started almost a month early this year. You would think that members of Congress would have considered the warming effect that an extra hour of daylight would have on our climate. Or did they?
Perhaps this is another plot by a liberal Congress to make us believe that global warming is a real threat. Perhaps next time there should be serious studies performed before Congress passes laws with such far-reaching effects.

So, about me. My life is: Germany>U.S.A.>Switzerland>U.S.A.>? Anyway, I speak German and English and I'd love to learn French. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life after High School. I know I'll travel. I have the whole itchy feet thing. I can never stay anywhere too long!

Well they claim that to be a joke but even so I think it’s just people playing on the ignorance of people in general. And in all honesty, the US is filled with many ignorant people so it’s not surprising that people took that seriously LOL I find the claim of “just a joke” to be funnier than the letter itself.
