Poland (cont.)
The website is being temperamental, telling me I cannot post one minute and then letting me post the next. I’ve lost some of the things I’ve written, but anyway, I would like to meet people with Polish, American and/or Swedish experiences, and people in my geographical area (Warsaw, Poland, Central Europe). Because I just discovered how the Related Posts feature works (gives me a link to someone else’s post that has content similar to my post, after I’ve posted), I hope you’ll excuse the fact that I’m pasting the same stuff here as in my profile description. It would be really nice to be able to do a member search here based on geographical location and languages:
Born in Poland to Polish parents;
Spent some time (incl. 2 months alone, i.e. w/a foster family) in Paris, France during preschool/kindergarten, for medical reasons;
At age 11 moved with my family from Warsaw, Poland to Orange County (Irvine, California);
Studied psychology at UC Berkeley and in Lund, Sweden (foreign exchange program);
Worked a bit in marketing research in Riverside, California;
Studied for an MA in Linköping, Sweden;
Now living in Warsaw, Poland, again.
English-Polish bilingual;
Other languages studied, but not fluent: Swedish, French.
