OK i’ve browsed here enough time for me to join and enjoy the spoils too.

As i am writing this you can imagine me switching from an African accent, to English, to American, to Arabic and so on, pronouncing different words with certain accents because some just don’t sound right if you say it with one rather than another.

Alright my name’s Baboucarr Jallow, born and lived in Gambia, a Diplomat’s kid, almost 18 and currently living in the States again and about to move again(not countries, jus states). Lets see iv’e also lived in Senegal, Ghana, Nigeria, Libya, Jamaica, Bahamas, St.Lucia, France, England, Germany, Russia, USA, Taiwan and Malaysia, not counting airports and layovers ( you know what i’m talking about!).

Anyways i have fallen for this site and like much of the people here been through the same things, families scattered everywhere, lucky if theres a family reunion and if there is like like the UN but much much more lively! and having siblings with totally different accents and your friends asking ” Why do you sound British and you sister sounds Arabic?”

I have lost too many friends from moving around and ive been to about 21 schools not including the ones in the U.S. But the wonders i’ve expeirenced from travelling cannot be told be books and words and i’m sure alot of us feel the same way.
