My lifestyle finally has a name =D
This post has 328 views
Hey!
I’m Catherine, but you can all call me cat! i have loads of nicknames but the use of them genereally depends on which part of the world im in!!
Im half danish half irish, im currently living in my sixth country. (lived in luxembourg, switzerland, england, ireland, singapore, denmark)
im living in denmark now, trying to settle down here so i can go to uni, however just knowing how long i have to stay here makes my feet itch.luckily im going back to singapore for two weeks soon.
I actually heard about TCK’s through a magazine article my mother showed me. I think its the only magazine article I have ever read thats hit that close to the bone !!!
I have to say I am really suprised at how many TCK’S there are…
Otherwise, I speak english and french fluently, im currently taking classes to get danish fluency, and i have passable spanish and german, and i can even understand a bit of luxembourgish.
ive travelled…. well lets just say i travelled alot. i did one of those ‘where ive been’ applications on facebook and i think i had over a 100 cities on it, not quite sure.
im 18 years of age. my accent… well from the amount ive moved and the diverse people ive met ive actually become a bit of an accent sponge… i cant mimic accents but if you stick me with an irish person i sound irish, an english person i sound english, american person, i sound american. so people argue about my accent alot. i just leave them too it. ive even walked away to do other things and left people arguing about what i sounded like.
take care
Cattt

oh dear, me too! im still confused on how to exactly spell mum or mom, it changes on a day to day basis. i remember a few years ago, when i was attending a french school, and i was forced to take basic english classes (regardless of the fact id grown up speaking english) and i got docked a mark for spelling it with the american version..
and dont get me started on potatoes and tomatoes,
or yoghurt!!
people always expect me to choose which i say, but i always forget
