Just saying Hi, so HI!
I thought I’d introduce myself since I just joined. My name’s Elke and I’m 23. Officially I’m Dutch I spent 5 years in Indonesia (Jakarta) from the age of 7-12, and then went back to my “home” country. Esp returning back to the Netherlands was hard, though I managed to convince the ‘rents to let me continue education at an International School, which helped a lot.
Like other TCK’s, I’m seeing the results of moving around in friends and family, both the good and the bad.

I was in JIS for 5 years! Graduated in 2001.
I actually have a pretty good Dutch friend who graduated with me (Esther). She is in the Netherlands now, so there’s another TCK there! Hehe.
Wow, so many people from Indonesia… I didn’t know Uncle Dan was in BIS for such a long time. Is it alright if I ask how old Uncle Dan is? I’m curious if our paths might have ever crossed! I had some friends at BIS, long long time ago.
