I have only ever experienced culture shock in my passport country of "Australia". When I land I feel disorientated and confused and that leads to anger & depression. When I am travelling I am ELATED!

Yes, many people experience reverse culture shock - sometimes worse than the initial culture shock of leaving their native culture. This is true for me.
Once I adapted to another culture, I have never completely been able to transition back. And each time I'd travel back and forth, it was always easier to readjust to the second culture than to transition back to my own culture once I got home again.

I sure hope there aren't any members in this forum who don't know what culture shock is though! ;)
