HI!
my name is Dilia- nice to meet you all and read your stories. im not the only weirdo 
my history: born in London, grew up in Bhutan and went to Holland, my ‘home’ country when I was 12. In grad school now and recently went to Nepal for my internship- so now I’m going all through the reverse-culture shock AGAIN. thats why im probably hanging out on these sites nowadays

Welcome to TCKid Dilia!! My name is Laura, and I am astonished that our beloved Brice hasn’t given you an LOLcat yet. I’ll save that for him! XD
As for me, I ALWAYS get reverse culture shock when I go back to my “native” Finland, even though I’ve been going there almost every summer since I moved to the US. ha ha!

anyways.. yeah like you (and laura) i do experience reverse culture shock too, when visiting the phils. not exactly the worst thing. HAHA. then again, i dont have to suffer through that a lot, since i barely ever do go ‘home’.
