Inside Panda’s Head: Internet crisis!!@@!#$%!@!!##$

I’ve only been back for about 2 days and already the internet is driving me CRAZY! Can it get any worse than this? Well unless I switch to dial-up….but it’s driving me CRAZY!

It was so weird being back in the States and not having to worry whether or not the page is going to load or whether or not I should use a proxy. In my Firefox in China, I have a proxy plug-in that allows me to load a page if normal page loading doesn’t work. Since I already know certain pages won’t load using regular page load I automatically copy and paste the URL to the proxy (e.g. Wikipedia). When I was in the States I had to stop myself because I realized there was no proxy tool bar LOL And I didn’t need it!! IT WAS TOTALLY AWESOME!!

But as always, good things come to an end…I returned to Shanghai and once again I get mad at the internet for cutting me off and throwing pages of “The connection has been reset” or “Server 123456 has taken too long to load” at me….ahhhh crap.

The Great Firewall of China…always hard at work…never sleeps o.o
