How does music help?
Music. This word always helps me. When I’m sad or angry, I listen to music to soothe me. There are different types of music. There are moody, slow, mellow music. Then there’s really loud jumpy music. I like all kinds of music, with the exception of rock and classical music. I’m a music freak, if you will. I LOVE MUSIC!
What is music like for you? Does it soothe and help you like it does me, or you don’t like music?

well....i'm filipino.....from the philippines.....and i'm a business kid! i'm friendly and i have been a tckid all my life! yeah....that's about it!

I was drawn to music when I realized that every time we moved to a new school where I couldn’t speak the language, even if I couldn’t participate in anything else, I could still participate in music class, at least at some level. And now I’m a music teacher. I’m really drawn to the ESL kids because I feel like my classroom can be a safe place for them, where they can shine. That’s what music does for me

There’s a sense of belonging in music. It’s the most universal language in the world, it transcends division to unite us. I love it.

When I was a teen music was a huge thing for me. In the peak of my depression, music was the only thing that made me happy and that made my life worthy of living (sounds dramatic but that’s how I felt it, those were very tough times).
I still am very touched by the music I like or that reminds me of some place or someone. I still love music but I’m not dependent on it anymore.
Music has a power, like Brice said, to touch us deep inside, just like we were talking about smells on some other post.

sometimes i feel like music is the only thing that makes me feel.
i never cry at movies or reli sad stories, in fact the first movie tat made me cry in 10 years was hairspray 0_0… tat was strange cuz tat movie is not sad in any way. the first one was lion king lol.
