Hello everyone,

 My name is Stacey and I just found this site a few weeks ago while doing research for a paper.  I am an adult TCK.  When I stumbled across this site it was like a weight had been lifted.  There is a name for me and how I was raised.  It was very exciting.  I was born in Illinois, and here is the list of the places I have lived: Illinois, South Dakota, New York twice, St. Croix (U.S. Virgin Islands), Utah, Iran, Louisiana, California twice and then we ended up in Kansas.  All of this moving took place before I was a sophomore in high school, we moved every 1 and 1/2 years or so.  It is nice to find a community of people who have experienced the same things.  I have been in the mid west since high school, but I can tell you that at least once a year I get this overwhelming urge to leave, just pack up and go.  I have been able to ride out those urges and have stayed put but it is sometimes pretty hard to do.  I also like some of you have found it hard to build relationships that are deeper than a friendship.  I am just not used to having people in my life for very long.  Hopefully now that I have found this site I can get some good advice from you all!

 Well, enough of an introduction.  Hopefully this posts correctly!
