What do other cultures think of your holidays? Here’s another Third culture kid comic I made, this one is about holidays and funny cultural misunderstandings. It’s inspired by a true story from Robert Ulander. (yes, this actually happened!)

    i know this sounds weird, but the idea of a chocolate covered hard boiled egg actually sounds quite delicious to me.

    as it is i eat my boiled eggs on toast with jam...

    its all about the sweet and salty man, throw in a little peri peri for good measure and we're golden!

    lol, I bet they thought Americans have very weird holidays ... I can imagine this conversation taking place:

    "so why are you putting chocolate on this hard boiled egg?"
    "well, it's an American holiday and we must make them feel welcomed here."
    "how do they eat this stuff? do they they eat the shell too?"
    "I have no idea. they have a strange culture..."

    I can't help wondering how you would eat them lol. would u remove the chocolate coating first and then eat the egg, or what? lol.

    LOL I can totally believe this actually happened, but what an awkward moment though... haha. Plus you can't refuse their gifts without feeling guilty since they put so much effort into making them!
