With everything else going on around the forum, I wanted to send out one last reminder to everyone that the deadline for the TCK writing contest is now over. approaching. (25th of November @ midnight PST. I will adjust the countdown to reflect that.)

Posts sent after the deadline will not be eligible to participate. It just wouldn’t be fair to extend the deadline for those who made sure to enter early.

But here’s the good news for those who recently entered…..

You still have one week 2 days left! (30th of November) to get votes for your post. If you recently joined us but haven’t gotten any votes for your post, it’s time to let people know about your story.

I hope that’s a fair amount of time for everyone who recently posted entries. The winner will be entirely determined by you, the wise and discriminating forum member. The post with the most thumbs up votes will win $100 USD (forum posts aren’t eligible, but you can still vote for them).

Alright, now let’s talk about something more fun!

If you’ve been browsing the older pages of the forum, you’ll notice there has been some really awesome but very different posts — poems, stories, comics and videos, and I thought it’d be fun to celebrate the absolute best post for each category. So, I’m putting out a call for nomimations for the best TCK posts ever.
First, we’ll go through a nomination phase to pick the contestants; see below for categories. After that, those posts receiving the most nominations will be collected and re-presented in the form of an online poll to choose the winners. There are no prizes, this is just for fun.

Now, to the nominations. Below you’ll find a list of categories. Post a link to the post (or mention the title if you remember it) that you want to nominate in the comments of this post. You may (and in fact are encouraged to) nominate multiple posts in each category and/or nominate the same post for multiple categories. If you want to suggest an additional category, please do!

    Warona, if you shut up, Isabelle (and everyone else who enjoys your posts) won’t be happy :( It’s funny because you were gone for a couple of days and missed some interesting gossip in the chatroom hehe.
