TCK Meetup in Los Angeles LA

Hi All!

I live near Los Angeles, California, and I am wondering if any of you guys are interested in meeting up in LA (Perhaps for the first time? I don’t know if this has been done before).

Please reply with your:

1. Age

2. Current school year/or write if you’re working

3. City you live in

4. Time frame of when you would like to meet up.

5. Also, would there be a specific topic that you would like to discuss during the meeting?I think this would be awesome so we can just talk about the life of being a TCK.

I’ll start with myself:

1. 23

2. Graduated uni in 2006

3. San Bernardino

4. I am doing a few projects here and there so my time is very flexible.

5. I would love to just meet everyone and hear everyone’s story about their experience living overseas, and/or if LA is where you’re placed from another country.

Better Than Studying Abroad?

=DOr do you take advantage of the studying abroad, university program? Or you don’t need to! I made quite a few friends here in LA, California, and they seem quite pleased with themselves that they made it to countries like the Netherlands, London or France to name a few. However, for myself, I don’t think of it as a great deal since we’ve had the experience of living in another country for years! What do you think about those people that grew up in the same location all their lives and got into the studying abroad program? Good topic? Yes? ^_^
