Ideas for roadtrip soundtrack!

Hi everyone!!

I am going on a road-trip through the Netherlands next month and I am in charge of the playlist!! Only problem is that I am completely stuck!!

SO i thought I would ask everyone….what is your favorite driving/roadtripping song?!? Do you have any suggestions to make an awesome playlist! I listen to pretty much all types of music (well, not so much a fan of polka) so any help you could provide would be splendidly marvelous!!

Also, anyone have off-the-tourist-track recomendations places in to see in the Netherlands?!?

Hi Everyone!!

Hi Everyone!!

My name is Jess and I’m a new member of tckid! =) I hope this post works as its meant too and i don’t accidentally post it in the wrong forum! coz that would be a rather embarrassing entrance…anyway! As i said I’m jess…nice to meet all you good folks! I currently live in New Jersey in the USA, I’ve been here for 3 years now (WOW time goes fast!) — I’m Australian by birth but spent a fair amount of time in Belgium when i was younger which was just amazing!! So I’m fairly culturally confused and often have the panic stricken feeling of AM I DRIVING ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!!?!? im sure some of you can relate!

Ummm…what else can i tell you? I just graduated from college in December so now instead of getting a job I am doing my best to avoid the real world and heading off to Europe next month for two months! I’m realllly excited about it!! My sister is currently living in Italy so I’m going to spend some time with her and essentially spend every last penny i have and then come back to the jersey and face the music, (not to mention the debt)!! hehe. 

When i first heard about TCK’s i instantly identified with what i read, so i joined the facebook group and eventually found out about this group so i signed right up! I do often think that there are a lot of bad things about being a tck but from what i can see there is also a lot of bad things about growing up in the one place!! or so i’ve been told! It can be hard but I wouldn’t change being a tck for…well i was going to say ‘the world’ but part of being a tck means you are part of ‘the world’ and not a country so using it in this context it doesn’t make any sense!! And now I’m rambling and presenting an odd snap shot of my persona….so ummm…basically i love being a tck!

I’d love to learn more about all of you, your adventures and travels! How do have dealt with the life of a tck! So that’s me and it’s nice to meet you!! =)
