I’m a 27 yo atck who grew up in Hong Kong, Philippines, UK, India and Canada. I went to 7 schools before I turned 9 and and have still never lived in one country for more than 4 consecutive years - so there’s the stats…
I’m currently working in Shanghai and was wondering if any of you fine people are here too. Would be great to meet some people with the same kind of background - so drop me a line if you live in China!

Hey Daniel,
I’m in Shanghai as well and was hoping to meet some TCKs in the area like you are. I only heard of the TCK experience a year ago and i’m still not sure how to meet people who are like me. I found TCKID through links on websites and saw that there are local group meetings for networking with other TCKs in the area. I was actually thinking of starting a local group in Shanghai because i didn’t see any groups for the area but you just posted a note and that’s great.
I know one more TCK from Shanghai through TCKID but I haven’t met her either yet.

I’m from China, grew up in different places in North America and Asia, moved around more than 11 times before the age of 17, from single father and business family. I’m in Shanghai learning Mandarin. I can speak it but i can’t read it.
