An old poem for depressed TCKs

Haha just dug this poem out. Wrote it when I was younger and more depressed…LOL this is a rather pessimistic point of view but blah, it reflects reality somewhat. P.S. I was pretty young when I wrote this, so if it sux…well actually I fixed it up a bit just now…so it doesnt suck as much as it did LOL. but anyways. (it’s called voyageuse cuz French is the only language I know with female tense for like every noun…sorry but I am a girl and go to a feminist all girl school…so I called it voyageuse…no hard feelings LOL)

Voyageuse She loves them all,Animals and things.Trees and buildings tall,Whatever brings.

She loves them all,

Home or not,Cozy bed and tenement hall,Stress she forgot.

She travels far away,

She comes in by the shore. She returns everyday,She also escapes once more.

“We have no home,

All over the world we roam.Native tongue she has none,Freedom she wants ton.

She hears them call,

But must let go of…She loves them all,

Yet owns no love.

She is addicted,

She can’t stop. With this much love

She’s bound to drop.

Nice poem, how old were you when you wrote it? I am horrible at poetry… I used to draw instead.

I love this. But this part hit me most:
    “We have no home,
All over the world we roam.
    Native tongue she has none,
    Freedom she wants ton”
    Beautiful, thanks for sharing.
