A brief intro
My parents each grew up in small villages and I was born in a small, seaside village in Maine, USA. Eight years later we moved to Nigeria. We went on to live in Sierra Leone, return to Nigeria, and then moved on to Kuwait and (then) Yugoslavia. I returned to Maine after going to college in Boston. Eight years ago, I graduated as a member of Lesley College’s first on-line graduating class. On-line communities: a new culture.
Reading TCK info reminds me of arriving in a new country; hoping for acceptance and longing to belong.
In peace,
Becky, an adult TCK living in Maine and grateful for the connections provided by the Internet

Welcome! I am also an Adult TCK. I graduated from a college in Boston 10 years ago! I love the Boston area.
Warona: I hear you about “old” school TCK. I remember being ecstatic when we would get a letter via snail or my grandmother would send us a Video Tape with TV programs recorded on it. Now w/ the internet, it is so much easier to stay connected to people.
