Frequently Asked Questions:
What’s an Online Networking Event?
We will help you get connected with other compassionate cross cultural individuals like yourself who have donated to help Haiti. You will be able to introduce yourself in the comments and add each other on Facebook/Twitter or other social networks of your choice to network and make new friends.
Who can participate?
It’s open to anyone regardless of age, background, or countries. We have people of all ages and almost all continents to our online events!
Why should I participate when I can just directly donate to a charity?
You are encouraged to donate individually to any charity of your choice too! Doing it in as group allows you to join other Cross Cultural/TCKs like yourself to fundraise and make new friends in the process. You will be able to say you have helped raise $1000 with other TCKs. Collaboration allows you to accomplish what individual effort cannot.
What charities will this fundraiser go to?
How will we know how much money is raised and when will it be given?
We will ask you to donate directly to Doctors Without Borders and email us to tell us how much you donated. There will be a public fundraising thermometer/counter available to donors. It’ll be fun to see this collaborative effort take place!
Who is supporting the TCKID Networking event?
Dr Paulette Bethel, Ruth Van Reken, Paul Trigg, Erin Sinogba, Brice Royer, Michelle Kim, Ben Adams, the TCKID team and its advocates and supporters.

That’s a great idea! Where can I leave a comment to express my gratitude to TCKID?
I have a question that hasn’t been answered. Who can I contact?
"TCKID was there when no one else was. After I repatriated to the United States, I felt completely out of place and strange. After finding out I was a TCK on TCKID I finally felt like I had a home and people I could talk to and celebrate the experiences I had growing up.

"I am a 39 year old TCKID... and I still do not know where I belong, but reading everything in this site has helped me feel less alone."
